Did you just wake up and realize the alcohol you drank last night has had a profoundly negative effect on your body?  Hey don't sweat it(well maybe you are already) there is help on the way.  Until some genius comes up with a cure all pill to solve all your woe's it is going to take a few steps to get you make to feeling like you again.

 I will share how to handle the after effects of some heavy drinking the night before.   Don't worry I am not going to suggest something crazy like not drinking!  I know if you've come here it's too late.

In order of what to do first and why to cure your hangover:  

1) You have to get moving, but start SLOW after you've made it to the restroom get some COCONUT WATER you need it because the alcohol had dehydrated your body that's why you are thirsty. Sure simple water will help too but  Coconut water works better.  If you cant find any now go ahead and use that popular sports drink.  There are many sources out there to buy a coconut juice in canned form so get some now so you'll be ready next time, I know few of you keep real coconuts on hand all the time.  This miracle liquid contains a massive amount of electrolytes, potassium, and vitamin C.  It has all the right ingredients, is all natural and get you body back what it needs.

2)  A few Ibuprofen will help you feel a little better, squelch that inevitable headache and reduce your inflamed joints. DO NOT take Tylenol or acetaminophen, your livers had quite a work out and this will hurt more than help. 
3)  After sipping on your new miracle beverage and making sure no inappropriate texts you'll have to explain went out you need to get your body some fuel to help it finish metabolizing the alcohol and replenish some more ingredients to happy living.  Were talking some top notch Hangover breakfast food here by way of 
MAPLE BACON PANCAKES.  

Why you say?, well this all in one dish has some very helpful ingredients for a hangover cure.  SUGAR natural sugar from the Maple Syrup you cover them with is needed in your body.  You see when you were drinking your body couldn't covert the normal glucose to energy for you but now that your done your body could really use it.  Carbohydrates in the pancake itself will help "soak up" or slow any latent alcohol still in your system and will help you get back some of the energy you literally burned up.  The EGGS is the pancake batter you make are one of the easiest available sources of cholesterol and protein your body can metabolize.  Finally BACON - yes bacon can and does actually help you cure your hangover for a two key reasons, protein food energy and SALT.  Yes your body needs salt and why not get it in some tasty bacon.   The salt will kind of trick your brain into drinking more water which will help flush that alcohol out and get you back to your chipper self.    

More Alcohol for hangover?

I wanted to address this popular belief in hangover cures to simply drink some more.  Well this KINDA works in that in the short term when your blood alcohol level rises you could feel a little better.  But this isn't curing your hangover its prolonging it and making it a little less extreme.  You'll still have to process that alcohol at some point and your just delaying the process for a little relief.

    I dont care about sports. Shame on me but I dont even know the soccer rules. Never cared less.
