The Best Shoes In The World
After searching far and wide I have found what I and many others believe to be works of the greatest cobblers (that's a shoemaker) on Earth.

Bespoke Shoes, best in the world...
John Lobb creates true masterpieces of footwear in Paris, France at their shop. This type of shoe is a true Bespoke shoe in every way. It is custom made to each individual clients specifications. Starting the process is a hand measurement of the clients foot (well both feet actually ) for a truly perfect fit. Then you get to make choices of what type of leather you would like, your preferred style, stitching pattern, lace pattern and amount of hole, everything you could think of including the stain color for leather can be specified.
Making the best shoes in the world
This take a while as you might imagine and a commitment from the client as well. Shoes can reportedly take up to 100 man hours to complete. After the initial measurements a mock-up is made for fitting and further refinement then depending on their schedule up to a year later your shoes will be ready to put on. Problem is you may never want to take them off.
Cost of the best shoes in the world
Well let's start with this. A ready to wear non custom pair of John Lobbs can set you back $750-$2000 or so. Yeah but what about those awesome Bespoke's, you know the best shoes in the world?
Count on $8000-$10000. That's for one pair, so no more complaining your wife has an expensive shoe habit OK?
But what about shoes for women?

For instance, Stuart Weitzman has designed and produce some amazingly expensive shoes in the $1 million dollar mark range and more, but that wasn't so much because the shoes are painstakingly made 1 atom at a time under a microscope. It's because of the JEWELS, diamonds, gold, platinum etc...
